Welcome to the Northern California Auto Racing Alumni official website. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving local racing history. Driven by the vision of our founder Lloyd Burton you can find us at local events like Kool April Nites, races such as the Lloyd Burton Founders cup at the Shasta Speedway and at our annual NCARA Bar-b-q and Hall of Fame inductee ceremony.
It’s happening every year. Races are being won and lost. Drivers are making their mark in racing history and it doesn’t go unnoticed. The NCARA Hall of Fame is proof of that.
Membership
NCARA Members are very important to our cause. With their votes they choose who is inducted into the Hall of Fame and their membership due's are instrumental in keeping this organization alive.
Preserving the Past
With decades of local racing history here in Northern California it is our purpose to preserve as much of that as possible. Any help with photo’s, stories or memorabilia is greatly appreciated.
At the heart of our organization is our Hall of Fame. Through nominations and votes from our members we induct some of the best and well loved drivers and racing personnel into the Hall of Fame.
Recognizing greatness is not hard to do but we take it seriously and gladly accept the responsibility of honoring our local racing hero’s.
Driver Spotlight with Rich Taylor
We had a chance to interview Rich about his short but very productive racing career. It was a fun conversation as you would expect hearing about the good ol days of racing and the competitiveness of a man who only wanted to win and knew how to do it.
